Public Safety Walk of Park View

Councilmember Brianne Nadeau would like to invite you to join a Public Safety Walk of the Park View Neighborhood with MPD this Monday, July 24 at 6:30pm. We will start in front of the Bernice Elizabeth Fonteneau Senior Wellness Center at 3531 Georgia Ave NW and head east on Newton Place. Please invite your neighbors to join the walk, share their concerns, and learn about MPD’s efforts in the neighborhood.

The Councilmember has also been coordinating with the Park View UNC, who will hold their Crime Discussion at the Park View UNC Monthly Community Meeting on August 2 at the Park View Rec Center from 7-8pm. The UNC will discuss the formation of a crime committee, organizing a larger Park View walk-through, and public safety in the neighborhood.

If you cannot make this Monday’s walk with MPD and the Councilmember, we hope to see you on Wednesday, August 2 for the UNC’s Crime Discussion. The Councilmember will also have pop-up constituent service hours outside the Park View Recreation Center from 6-7 on August 2, in advance of the meeting.
